| Photoshop is not going away. As a bride or potential client, having some idea of how much Photoshop work you are able to accept and enjoy is a question worth asking your self.
At malmac photography, both mal and sue, are only too willing to explore the possibilities that Photoshop offers for digital photography. We are preparing a gallery of images that will soon be available on a slide show. The images will provide brides and clients in the Toowoomba and Darling Downs, an opportunity to consider where they stand on Photoshop for their wedding or family photos.
At present, we have just put a few images below for you to consider. These images illustrate commonly used techniques which can be applied to digital images.
Another use for Photoshop, is the removal of pimples and skin blemishes, which are passing events - so most brides are happy for them to be removed.
Photoshop can also be used to remove, the dreaded "double chin" and other corrections to personal features such as teeth and closed eyes (on people who are forever blinking).
Think about where you stand on the above issues, digital borders, the introduction of text, speech bubbles, alternative backgrounds, blending of multiple images and much more. Photoshop can of course be over used, and can then be a distraction rather than an enhancement.
I hope the following images provide you with an opportunity to clarify where you stand on the use of Photoshop with your digital wedding photos or family portraits.
